ABOUT

After graduating from the University of Hertfordshire with a BA(Hons) 1st in Illustration and Graphic Design, Jemma then went on to complete her second degree in Education at Middlesex University in London. After 1 year of Post graduation study, she began working as a Primary School Teacher in Borehamwood before moving to teach in Brighton for an additional 2 years. During this time she continued to create art both as a way of unwinding and as a freelancer.

In 2018, Jemma spent 4 months travelling around Asia with a friend and returned to England looking for a change in career. She now works as a designer for an Umbrella Broker where she is tasked with designing advertisements and has a hand in the marketing of the company.

Jemma continues to tutor children in her spare time, as well as working as a freelance Illustrator and graphic designer.
